For the hours when the lights are off and your head is not
Your mind will not switch off. Lumo will keep you company.
Lumo is a small creature made of warm light. Talk your day out loud for about ten minutes, and it listens, remembers what matters, and helps you settle. No rush. No judgement.
Lumo will not fix your sleep, and it is not a person. It is a calm voice that gives racing thoughts somewhere to go.
iPhone first. Adults, 18 and over.
Say hi. Lumo will notice.
Why Lumo
For the nights it will not quiet down
You are tired, and your head is somehow busy anyway. Replaying the day, rehearsing tomorrow, arguing with people who are asleep.
Out loud is different
Thoughts that loop silently often settle once you say them. Lumo is there to hear them, at any hour.
Gentle, never pushy
No advice you did not ask for, no pressure to be fine. Lumo follows your pace and lets silences be silences.
It remembers, kindly
Next time, Lumo knows who Sam is and that Thursday's meeting has been on your mind. You stay in charge of what it keeps.
How it works
Three small steps, about ten minutes
Say hi
Open Lumo and pick how you feel and what you need: to unwind, to get something off your chest, or to sleep. Then tap Talk to Lumo.
Talk it out
Speak for about ten minutes. Lumo listens, asks small questions, and never rushes you. When it helps, it offers one gentle technique, like slow breathing.
Settle
Lumo ends softly and leaves you with a one-line takeaway. You can stay for a short wind-down, or just roll over and sleep.
Memory and privacy
Yours to keep, yours to clear
Lumo is built so you never have to wonder what it knows about you.
Audio is never stored
Your voice is turned into words as you talk. We keep no recordings.
You see what Lumo remembers
Every memory is in a list you can read, edit or delete.
Delete everything in two taps
Settings, then Delete account. It removes all of it, for good.
No ads. Nothing sold.
Lumo is paid for by people who like it, not by selling what you say.
Questions
Good things to ask
Is Lumo a real person?
No. Lumo is an AI companion, not a person and not a therapist. It tells you so on the first screen of every session, and it answers honestly if you ask.
Does Lumo record me?
No. Your voice is turned into words as you speak and the audio is never stored. Once a session ends, Lumo keeps a short summary and the memories you can see, and the rest of the conversation text is deleted.
What does Lumo remember?
Small things that help it be kind next time: people you mention, what has been weighing on you, what helps, and good news. You can read, edit or delete any of it, or ask Lumo to forget everything.
What if I am struggling with more than a restless night?
Lumo is a companion for ordinary hard nights. It is not an emergency service. If you may be in danger, it will say so plainly and show you local people to contact. You can read exactly how that works on the safety page.
How much will it cost?
Your first session is free, and there is a little free time each week after that. A paid plan gives you more minutes each month. Prices and the free trial will be shown clearly before you pay, and you can cancel any time in your phone settings.
Who is it for?
Adults, 18 and over. If you are under 18, Lumo is not for you yet, and the app will say so kindly.
When can I get it?
Lumo is being built for iPhone first. Join the waitlist and we will send one email when it is ready.
